Welcome!

Welcome to Casa de Crossen, everyone! When I started designing this blog back at the beginning of the year, I had a Recipe/DIY concept in mind, with the potential to one day have a place to talk about starting a family. Little did I know that "one day" would turn into "right now!"
David and I decided to to start trying to have a baby at the end of last year, fully expecting it to take at the very least, a few months to happen. We didn't even tell anyone we were trying because we figured it would take a while. Imagine our surprise when those two lines showed up mid-February! Needless to say although we are more than a bit terrified, we are so so excited to start this next stage of our lives!
I still plan on posting recipes as soon as these food aversions and nausea pass (more on that later) and posts about updating our house, but I'm guessing pregnancy and baby posts will take center stage for awhile. Please stay tuned for weekly bump updates, things I learn as a first time momma to be, and anything and everything that may pop in to my mind.
