15 Weeks!

Baby Crossen is 15 weeks today! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is flying by. I feel like it's going to be October before I know it. I'm currently in the process of planning our gender reveal party. I am so so excited for it! I love party planning and have found a ton of cute ideas. It's going to be so hard to keep it a secret from everyone. David and I find out on the 20th, but our party isn't set until June 1st...so we have to keep it to ourselves for 11 days!
I feel like once we know what we're having we can really start to plan things. We can make nursery decisions, finalize a name, make our registries...I'm so pumped! Although, while we're on the subject of registries. Holy cow! Babies need so much stuff. And there are a million choices for everything. I don't even know where to start. Moms & Dads- what are your baby must haves?

How far along? 15 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I still don't think I've gained anything, but that won't last long if I keep chowing down on doughnuts and cakepops.
Stretch marks? Nope. Using this Mustela lotion that I have read rave reviews about. We'll see if it's worth it!
Sleep: It's been ok the past few nights. I just really miss sleeping on my stomach!
Best moment this week: We ordered our crib this morning! I can't wait to start getting the nursery together!
Miss Anything? Sleeping on my stomach. Being able to take advil for headaches!
Food cravings: Birthday cakepops. Chocolate doughnuts. Lemonade. Chocolate ice cream.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Meat. Greasy smells.
Have you started to show yet: Yep! This belly just keeps popping out.
Gender prediction: Boy, although the heart rate says otherwise!
Labor Signs: Nope.
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: So so cranky. No patience.
Weekly Wisdom: Again, just ignore negative people. There are always going to be people who don't agree with your decisions, but you have to stand by what you think is best.
Looking forward to: Finding out what baby is on May 20th. 2 weeks!

  1. Have you thought about having the dr. put the sex of the baby in a sealed envelope so that even you don't know? I guess that takes some of the fun out of the party planning though.
